El largometraje trata sobre la relación que se establece entre dos hombres maduros, uno de los cuales evita en el último momento que el otro se suicide al paso del metro. Por esta acción, la pareja intercambia ideologías y posiciones totalmente opuestas y en un debate sustentado desde diferentes ópticas y antecedentes en sus vidas. Adaptación de la obra de Cormac McCarthy.
